After many hours of recording and mixing we are happy to announce that we will be releasing our first full length album on June 16th at the Turf Club. More details to come in the next month on the full line up.
The Dang O’ Tri’ole are working on their first full length album with Kevin Kline! This still-to-be-named album will contain at least 10 original songs we have written since the release of Stumphole Water. On December 11th the 8 person Tri’ole went into the recording studio at Minneapolis Media Institute and knocked out several tracks over the course of a 5 hour recording session. The Dang Ol’ Tri’ole headed back to the studio a couple weeks ago to throw down another 5 tracks. One more to go and their first full length will be complete. We hope y’all can be there we release it sometime in the Spring of 2012.
The Dang Ol’ Tri’ole had one heck of a CD release back at Acadia last summer and have continued to have a great time at this awesome venue. Every 2nd Saturday of the month the Tri’ole will be tearing the place down with some of Minneapolis’s finest local original music. We are extremely grateful to everyone that has come out to see us! We can’t wait to you at our next show and to have the privilege to play with some incredible local bands. Don’t forget to pick a copy of Stumphole Water at our next show. We always try to have a bunch of FREE CD’s for those that come out. For those unable to attend, or no longer use shiny discs to listen to music, we have the entire album available for free right here!
